Household Hazardous Waste Collection Sites will take ALL Household Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste
Before transporting waste to the collection event or facility, please use this checklist to make sure you have done the following:
ert Have I used up every product to the fullest extent possible? ert Is the waste in its original container or is it properly labeled as to the contents? (The contents of the container must be the same as stated on the label. If not, cover up the label and write the name of its content.)
ert Have I removed all valuables, as well as, all other items that can be mistaken as hazardous and universal waste discards?
ert Have I offered good, usable products I can’t use to my neighbor, family or friends? ert Are the items placed in a sturdy container, such as cardboard or wooden box, for transporting? (Wrap glass  bottles in newspaper to prevent breakage.) Containers with flammable liquid will not be returned.
ert Have I kept the amount of chemical waste to less than 5 gallons or 50 lbs. for transportation? (State Law maximum transportation limitation.) ert Is the box placed in the trunk of your car or in the bed of  your pickup truck and secured to prevent movement?  (Keep items away from passengers.)
ert Are any of the containers leaking? (If they are, place them in a container or material that will not allow the leak to spread and place securely in the vehicle for safe transport.)
Follow directions once you reach the event site. You will be asked to turn off your motor and stay in your vehicle.

Storm Water Pollution Prevention - ONLY RAIN DOWN THE STORM DRAIN

What is the #1 reason creeks, rivers, and lakes get dirty?
It’s from all types of pollutants that flow into storm drains then make their way to your favorite water recreational facility.
The storm drain system is designed to prevent flooding and does not connect to a treatment facility.

Call 1-800-506-2555 to report storm drain disposal or obtain more information.
