Our Mission Statement

To provide for the protection of the general public health and welfare by efficient management of Riverside County's solid waste system through: provision of facilities and programs which meet or exceed all applicable local, State, Federal and land use regulations; utilization of up-to-date technological improvements; development and maintenance of a system that is balanced economically, socially and politically; and, economically feasible recovery of waste materials.

Waste Management Department

Please note that we are not Waste Management, Inc. the refuse hauling company. We are the Waste Management Department. We operate and maintain the landfills of Riverside County, CA and assist in programs that promote recycling and waste diversion. If your refuse company is Waste Management, Inc., they should be contacted directly regarding refuse and curbside recycling collection service. We do not haul or handle the pick up of local trash or containers of any kind, we do not sell/rent dumpsters or Port-A-Potties.
